Helen Wilmans Post was my gr. gr aunt. Does anyone have a copy of "A Search for Freedom", largely autobiographical. She pub. it in 1898, 2d. printing 1903. I would like to re -publish it. It tells of her childhood in my hometown in Illinois. She did not grow up in poverty; that came when whe married the alcoholic Dr. Baker and moved to Calif. She had relatives at home and in Calif. who would have provided money, etc. if she hadn't been too stubborn to ask! Many in the family became writers/publishers. Does she have any descendants? Who and where? I met one in about 1935 in Daytona, but she would not be alive now. I think her last name was Baggett. Can anyone help my search?
