The 2nd Annual Daytona Beach Dream Cruise will be held October 23-24-25th, 2009.

Hot Cars – Dream Cruise is the theme —
Bring out your Cruiser and Cruise A1A – with a special event route set up that takes you from Main Street to Plaza Ave (north of Bell Aire Plaza) along Daytona Beach.

This  Special Event begins on
Friday 
Scheduled activities include::

  • Open House at Raabe Racing — includes dyno demonstrations, tech sessions and a tour of their state of the art engine building shop.
  • Classic car show at Ocean Park (next to Hilton). 
  • Concert featuring “Steam” at the  Historic Bandshell
  • Alos at the Bandshell — during a band intermission — Movie featuring a 1957 race filmed in Daytona — for those old enough to remember 1957 ….

Saturday ::

  • Event Check in and photoshoot at Volusia Mall across the street from Daytona International Speedway.
  • Open House at Raabe Racing — includes dyno demonstrations, tech sessions and a tour of their state of the art engine building shop.
  • Old Fashioned Sock Hop at Down the Hatch Seafood Company
  • Free Outdoor Movie of upcoming Hot Rod Film “Duece of Spades” at the Aquarium — in downtown Daytona Beach

Sunday::

  • Final Gathering at The Aquarium  — Downtown Daytona Beach featuring dining – dancing and drawings for the event.

There were 1200 cars in 2008  — so don’t miss the fun!!!
