Coming to Daytona in February? Coming for the Daytona 500??

Wondering about the weather????  I have worn gloves at the Daytona 500, I have gotten a sunburn at the Daytona 500 — I have gotten rained on at the Daytona 500.  You should pack for any temperature and layering is smart this time of year, beacuse the temperatur can vary by 40 - 50 degrees with sun up and sundown.

Expect rates to go higher the week of the Daytona 500. Otherwise rooms are very reasonable and we are in peak snowbird season - which means many, many folks are able to come down for a month or 2 to escape the frigid northern temperatures and frequent storms.

Anything has got to be better than Chicago in February !!
