We go to the Hawaiian Inn on Sept 17th, 2010
The mini golf course looks great
Overall the grounds look good — there are 2 things that I saw..
1st floor south entrance has no ice machine, and no garbage.
Might want to put garbage in place of ice machines…
2nd — the doors leading out the beach at south side — are locked with no explanation…may want to hang sign directing guests to lobby pool entrance
The “Tunnle of Love” here — kinda dark and depressing….and does not look too sturdy…
would you want to walk your children thru here??
Looks like this area still needs to be torn down…any word on dates for this noisy – dusty job?
You can see they are building a deck above the door — where there are no balconies…to breing debris from last balcony tear down to the north side where dump is.
The columns are being repaired and then will be painted — which will save time compared to the south side… which is great news.
Work is on going…which is good news….
I hate when it looks like I am not working hard here to bring you the most up to date info…. but really, this year this website::http://biketoberfest.org/events.cfm
This site has put together a really good list of different locations that have Biketoberfest activities.
There is a printable pdf file on their site — so please visit to print it, but for now, I will post them here…
