1 Bedroom Deluxe(A) + a 1 Bedroom Suite(B)

This is the floorplan for a 2 bedroom deluxe lockout. This condo is usually oceanfront and will have an A & B entrance. Lockouts are the condos that are really 2 adjoining 1 bedrooms, with 2 sets of doors that can be closed to “Lock Out” the other side (See Lock Out doors Below).

This floorplan was designed so when you allow both lockout doors to be open – the floorplan flows like a 2 bedroom. There are some excellent features to a lockout…These condos usually have more space than the average 2 bedroom…you will get a 2nd living room, also you will have a 2nd kitchen, and a 2nd washer and dryer so if you are traveling with Cousin Eddie – he has his own space and you have your own space….

The other feature of this condo is that each bedroom (2) has a king bed, so this works great for couples traveling together. The “A” side is oceanfront the “B” side does not have a balcony and the bedroom is along the hallway.

Here are some pictures, we stayed in a 14th floor lockout in October 2010. My sister had a group of friends in from Omaha Nebraska and I was able to get this timeshare reserved for us – it easily slept 4 couples…

We had condo 1414 – units are assigned on arrival…2 Bedroom Deluxe Lock Out Condos are Oceanfront.

This is the 1414 A unit – it is a 1 Bedroom Deluxe, during slower periods this unit could rent as a 1 bedroom oceanfront condo.

All south tower dining rooms have a bench seat, north tower dining rooms have a dining table and 6 chairs

Cornered bench seat – with 2 chairs will seat 6

Fully equipped kitchen with stove – oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator.

This is the living room – to far right is door to balcony, this is the door to the master bedroom.

Also notice – flat screen TV, this unit has had an upgrade with new TVs – new bedroom furniture – new bench seat – but kitchen has not been upgrade to granite….

it is the B side or the 1 Bedroom Suite side – windows in this condo look out to the hallway.

I am a timeshare owner with Wyndham Vacation Ownership, my home resort is Ocean Walk Resort in Daytona Beach… this means my yearly ownership costs are much, much, MUCH more than the guy who owns a timeshare in say…. The Ozarks…. or the Smokie Mountains…. This also means that I can book rooms at Ocean Walk Resort 13 months in advance. This is helpful for Special Events like the Daytona 500 and Bike Week… because the timeshare rooms are usually COMPLETELY booked for these dates about 15 minutes after the phone lines open.

I own 2 -2 bedrooms at Ocean Walk, there are 600 condos at the resort and about 300 are owned by Wyndham Vacation Resorts, so you need to be an owner to book these. From experience I know that there are times of the year that I am lucky to get 1 of my condos rented. I also know that there are other times that I could rent 50 condos at Ocean Walk if I owned that many….I do not own 50 condos – but I own 50 weeks…

So I can book the big events if I plan 13 months in advance…

3 Bedrooms are favorites… there is only 1 drawback, there is no way around 1 parking pass ( or 4 bike passes..)

We have stayed in 3 bedroom timeshare condos several times – usually when we come down for the Daytona 500 with my family..

I have taken pictures over the years – these pictures are from 2009.. ALL Ocean Walk Resort 3 Bedroom Condos are Oceanfront and ALL Ocean Walk Resort 3 Bedroom Condos are in the north tower.

There is also a private bathroom in Master Bedroom with walk in shower

All bedrooms have TVs, most have been changed out for 32′ flat screens – but not all….

Dining room has table with bench seats and chairs.

Open Floor Plan means – Kitchen – living room – dining room are all together…so only come with people you like — cuz you are one big happy family if you are eating together….

Full kitchen – stove – oven – dishwasher – full sized refrigerator – microwave…

Gotta have a coffee maker and a blender ( Margaritas…YES !!)

Living Room will have Sofa Sleeper and chairs – usually 2 chairs…

This is the 2nd bedroom with a king bed – there is also a TV and dresser on other side of room…. my pictures are kinda blurry….

Bathroom with shower is adjacent to both 2nd and 3rd bedroom..

Ocean Walk Resort has been upgrading these units and upgrades have granite counter tops, more subtle paint colors, flat screen TVs and updated sofas and headboards… 20% of the units get upgraded each year, so not all will be upgraded until end of year 2014.

These units are timeshare units – this is a Gold Crown Resort and they are assigned on arrival, so I will not know which condo you will be staying in. Please contact me to check availability.
