Mark this date down.
After several years of reading blogs and thinking about attempting to trek out on my own… I have begun. Let me introduce my blog, the” Daytona Beach Blog.”
My subject will be Daytona Beach, Florida, myself, Daytona Beach Restaurants and my kids, Daytona Beach Resorts and my dogs…Daytona Beach Events and my friends. I might as well admit it now… this blog will be swerving all over the road. I promise, I will attempt to keep it on track. My plan is to present (with the help of others) the “Best of Daytona Beach “. Unfortunately, this will not help any extremely noteworthy causes like world peace, or world hunger or even help you get your laundry clean or your whites their whitest. But maybe sometime in your future, as you are planning your next trip to Daytona Beach…you will come upon something here that makes you think —
It will start small…. “I heard about this “Great Place” to have a Tastee Burger by the ocean…”
Next thing you know, you will be in Daytona, driving by that “Great Place” and you will have a craving for a tastee-burger….
Next thing you know, you are swerving thru 2 lanes of traffic, and landing VIP parking – right by the front door—you’ll swagger in, wearing your best Tony Bahama shirt and your shades (you are toooo cooool !!) and order that tastee-burger…..
Listening to the ocean (and Jimmy Buffet) and feeling the ocean breeze.
Then your burger comes….and just like Samual L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction you take a bite (remember he had the Hawaiian Burger…??) and go —
“Damn, (shaking your head…) that is one Tastee-Burger!! ”

And it is 12 degrees at home in Cincinnati……..

Life Is Soo Good in Daytona Beach !!
