Daytona 500 Souvenirs – Best Deals are at Flea Market
Daytona 500 Souvenirs can be found all over the city of Daytona during Race Week. It really depends on what type of soubenir buyer you truly are to determine where the best places to shop will be for you…
Are you like my mother and keep a plastic wrapped Dale Earnheardt jacket? If so, then a flea market may not be the type of place to pick that sort of an item. But, if you are like Gino and myself, and buyer for lots of kids, friends, race lovers, clients, non race lovers, neighbors, milk men, grandkids…. then perhaps getting a few deals on souvenirs maybe something you are interested in. Well here is the place for deals:: Daytona Flea Market. Just west of the Speedway take Tomoka Farms Rd and follow the signs.
They have rows and rows of vendors who will give you a great price on the items you really, really need…..
There are boxes and boes of items for you to peruse thru for your shopping enjoyment.
There are deals to be had… really, even tho Budweiser is no longer a Dale Jr sponsor, this jacket for $20 is a great value on last year’s especially if you are a Jr fan– this is a piece of history and can be had for the basement bargain price of $20, I bought mine for $120 at the track a few years ago and do not see the need for another…but if I did…this one would be in my closet as we speak…
There is really a large selection and you can find deals on something for everyone !! This is what you get the guy who has everything !!
As previously illustrated, you can get great deals on last year’s jackets and at several locations they have this year’s jackets at a great price too..
As you can see, there are T-shirts, jackets, hats all at bargain prices.
How can they keep prices low here at the flea market? Low overhead, my friend, is the answer !! No one here pays big dollars for fancy signs — no sirree !! I have lingering questions over the Jr Credenhol..umm…..can someone help me decipher this sign ??
Ok — we have the more upscale flea marketuer….
With these prices you can afford to spiff the milkman too…or dogsitter
Or, as Rocks does, everyone at the bar ends up with a T-shirt, he is truly like Santa when it comes to giving….
This was my choice, clean, colorful and inexpensive, a great value, my friend !!
Things frequently get marked down, so showing up early does not necessarily mean you will get the best price to be had…
SO this is 2008’s price and the $20 was 2007’s price, quite a sustantial savings compared to what you pay at the track.
You can find anythng here and usually something for everyone….
Really…You can find ANYTHING here and usually something for everyone on that shopping list…my obnoxious aunt comes to mind here….
Everyone gets to be a Nascar Fan !!
And of course with a 4 year old grandson… these at $1/piece are going home with me….he has plenty of T-shirts…..and it’s February in Chicago…
So, my advice to you, is to make a list, walk it all down at the flea market, mentally making notes of the best products at the best prices. And do not be afraid to make offers on the merchandise. This is flea market and it is impossible to insult anyone with an offer — worst thing that can happen is they tell you “NO”
Sweatshirts for $5.99…what a deal !!
Of course, as with any shopping expedition, cash only, and no refunds given, with that in mind, BUYER BEWARE !!
