One of my husband’s favorite places to go is Barnacles in Daytona Beach. There are several reasons for this — the first is because it is within walking distance of Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center. The 2nd is the “All You Can Eat Crab Legs….” which he LOVES… I do not eat crab legs, but part of my mis-spent youth was also mis spent as a waitress at Red Lobster, and after 13 years you get pretty darned good at cracking other people’s crab legs, expertly breaking into a whole Maine Loster and I can cook a Steak & Rock Lobster dinner for guests on New Year’s Eve every year and you would swear from the Martha Stewart look of my sea food, that I had a chef hard at work in the kitchen…. Anyways , the crablegs are an extra special treat here…
Of course the sea theme is alive and well at many oceanfront restaurants thru out Daytona and living in the midwest, I appreciate the charming decor….
AND THE BAR !! I am on vacation, so I may have the occasional margarita or frozen daquiri and this is a great place to do just that…
Although, I am usually confused by the selection and then go back to my old stand by — CORONAs…please….

Lobster and cheese and more lobster and cheese…. this dish usually sells out before the night is thru… so get there early !!
Myself ?? The BIG shrimp cocktail is XLent !!
Moat most bestest dinner rolls —not as good as Red Lobster, but they are more dense and favorful (IMHO) than the Red Lobster dinner rolls, and since i know the secret Reb Loster recipe, I make them often — so these are a nice change !!
