Well, it's Special Event season in Daytona Beach and to start off Bike Week, I'd like to revisit some pictures from my trip to Biketoberfest.... We are bikers and enjoy our Harley, we have enjoyed many trips with bikes to Florida. We have yet to trailer because Gene likes to rent bikes while we are in Florida... V-rods are his favorite rental... he likes to check out the latest and greatest machines while we are in town... somehow the seats keep getting smaller and smaller for me -- hard to hang ... Daytona Beach Restaurant Reviews – Down the Hatch
Located in Ponce Inlet -- Take Atlantic (A1A) south to just near the Lighthouse, cut west Peninsula Drive. Daytona Restaurant Review – Cancun Lagoon….
After the 50th Daytona 500 - we did what we always do after the race... we went to Cancun Lagoon to grab dinner and wait for traffic to clear out. Brother-in-law got a little bit of sun today and seems to be in a good mood -- this is his favorite part of the day and there is no living with him if he does not get to go to Cancun Lagoon after the race -- my sister is so afraid of how he will act that she insists we accommodate him ...and we do... how can you say "NO" to him ?? More Corona?? ... Read more »
Daytona – Sunrise over the Bandshell
One of the things that I LOVE to do when I am in Daytona is to get up early and watch the sunrise... I like to be alone with my thoughts first thing in the morning and ready myself for a productive day... I got a new Nikon 80 for taking pictures last Christmas, like Christmas of 2006 and I have spent over a year trying to figure out how to use it... Sunrises are hard and they go very slowly -- so really I should set my tripod up to capture the same view as the sun ... Read more »
Daytona 500 Souvenirs – Best Deals are at Flea Market
Daytona 500 Souvenirs - Best Deals are at Flea Market Daytona 500 Souvenirs can be found all over the city of Daytona during Race Week. It really depends on what type of soubenir buyer you truly are to determine where the best places to shop will be for you... Are you like my mother and keep a plastic wrapped Dale Earnheardt jacket? If so, then a flea market may not be the type of place to pick that sort of an item. But, if you are like Gino and myself, and buyer for lots of kids, ... Read more »

It was also the day my laptop died -- I saw the blue screen of death and cried... I had pictures on that laptop from December 2004 that I could never replace. Anyway, posts will be dealyed. My March 2008 header will be dealyed. I am saying Hail Mary's & Rosaries while awaiting word from the Geek Squad on saving my data.... ... Read more »
